Terms & Conditions

Effective date: October 16, 2025

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all reservations and services provided by ALC Limo (“ALC Limo,” “we,” “us,” “our”) in Salt Lake City, Utah and surrounding areas. By booking, paying for, or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1) Quotes, Reservations & Payment

  • Quotes. Quotes are estimates based on the details you provide. Final charges may vary with actual time, distance, route changes, tolls/fees, or wait time.
  • Booking. A valid name, mobile number, email, pickup details, and payment method are required to confirm a reservation.
  • Deposits & Holds. We may require a deposit or a pre-authorization hold of $___ per vehicle.
  • Rates & Gratuity. Rates may include base fare, fuel surcharge, admin fee, and taxes. Gratuity for the chauffeur of ___% may be suggested or added where permitted; you may adjust at your discretion.
  • Payment Methods. We accept major credit/debit cards and approved corporate accounts. You authorize us to charge the card on file for all incurred charges, adjustments, damages, and fees permitted by these Terms.
  • Receipts. Itemized receipts are sent to the email provided after trip completion.

2) Changes, Cancellations & No-Shows

  • Changes. Changes are subject to availability and may affect pricing.
  • Cancellation Window. You may cancel sedan/SUV reservations without charge up to ___ hours before pickup; stretches/sprinters/buses up to ___ hours/days. Outside these windows, the fare (up to 100%) may be charged.
  • No-Show. Failure to meet your chauffeur without notice by ___ minutes after the scheduled pickup (or after included wait time) is a no-show, and the full fare plus applicable wait time/fees will apply.
  • Early Termination. Ending the trip early does not entitle you to a refund of unused time.

3) Wait Time, Overtime & Route

  • Included Time. Point-to-point rides include ___ minutes of wait time at pickup. Hourly charters include continuous service during the reserved period.
  • Wait Time. After included time, wait time is billed in ___-minute increments at $___/increment.
  • Overtime. Extending beyond the reserved window is subject to availability and billed at the prevailing hourly rate plus surcharges.
  • Route Decisions. Chauffeurs may select or alter routes for safety, efficiency, traffic, weather, or road closures.

4) Airport & Train Pickups

  • Monitoring. We monitor major flight/train status as a courtesy. Delays, diversions, gate/terminal changes, or missed connections may incur additional wait time, parking, or re-dispatch fees.
  • Meet & Greet. Meet-and-greet service and parking are billed at $___ plus actual parking charges.

5) Passenger Conduct & Safety

  • Seat Belts & Capacity. Seat belts must be worn where required by law. Do not exceed the vehicle’s seated capacity.
  • Child Seats. Utah law may require appropriate child restraints. You are responsible for providing and installing compliant car seats/boosters unless prearranged with us.
  • Prohibited Conduct. Smoking, vaping, illegal substances, and disorderly or unsafe behavior are not permitted. We may terminate service, without refund, for conduct that endangers passengers, chauffeurs, or the public.
  • Alcohol & Open Container. We comply with all Utah open-container and alcohol laws. Passengers are responsible for following applicable laws; alcohol may be restricted by law regardless of vehicle type.
  • Service Animals & Pets. Service animals are welcome. Pets may be permitted with advance notice, carrier, and a cleaning deposit/fee.

6) Cleaning, Damage & Extra Fees

  • Cleaning Fees (as applicable):
    • Standard detailing (spill/food debris): $___
    • Bio/incident (e.g., vomiting): $___
    • Smoking/vaping remediation: $___
  • Damages. You are responsible for the cost to repair or replace damaged interiors, exteriors, or equipment, plus the vehicle’s lost use while out of service.
  • Other Charges. Tolls, parking, venue fees, event access fees, road closures, special permits, and extra stops are billed at cost plus $___ admin where applicable.

7) Chauffeur Authority

Chauffeurs may refuse or discontinue service (without refund) if passengers violate these Terms, request illegal activity, or conditions are unsafe (e.g., severe weather, over-intoxication, vandalism). Chauffeurs are not permitted to break traffic laws at any time.


8) Delays, Force Majeure & Availability

We strive to be on time. However, we are not liable for delays caused by factors beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to traffic, weather, road closures, accidents, law enforcement activity, acts of God, strikes, supply or staffing constraints, or events affecting safe operation. In such cases, our obligation is limited to good-faith efforts to provide alternative service or a refund of unused prepaid amounts at our discretion.


9) Lost & Found

We are not responsible for personal items left in vehicles. If found, items may be returned upon request at your expense. Unclaimed items may be disposed of after a reasonable period.


10) Photography & Marketing

We will not use images or video of passengers for marketing without consent. Vehicles may have security features for safety and training; see our Privacy Policy for details and your choices.


11) Accounts, Corporate Billing & Fraud

  • Accounts. Approved corporate accounts are subject to separate credit terms and usage policies.
  • Chargebacks. You agree to first contact us to resolve billing concerns. Unauthorized payment disputes may incur investigation fees where permitted by law.
  • Fraud Prevention. We may require ID verification, signed authorizations, or additional documentation.

12) Warranty Disclaimer

Except as expressly stated in writing, services are provided “as available” and “as is.” We disclaim all implied warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.


13) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages (including lost profits, missed flights, or missed events).
  • Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, the limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted.


14) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ALC Limo, its owners, employees, and contractors from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your instructions, or your negligence or misconduct.


15) Dispute Resolution; Arbitration; Venue

  • Informal Resolution. Contact us first at mb@alclimo.com; we’ll try to resolve concerns promptly.
  • Arbitration. If unresolved, disputes will be finally resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis under the Commercial Rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA). The seat/venue is Salt Lake City, Utah. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.
  • Small Claims Option. Either party may bring a claim in Salt Lake County small claims court instead of arbitration.
  • Class/Jury Waiver. You and we waive class/representative actions and jury trials to the extent permitted by law.

16) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.


17) Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy (effective October 16, 2025). Please review it for details on how we collect, use, and protect personal information.


18) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective date” above shows the latest revision. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
